Children's dental visits set the tone for how they feel about oral health for the rest of their lives, which is why the pediatric dentistry experience at ToothWorks Dental Clinic is built around patience, gentleness, and making every child feel safe. Dr. Shraddha and her team take a calm, friendly, tell-show-do approach with young patients, explaining every step in simple terms before it happens rather than rushing straight into treatment.

Every child dental check-up includes a thorough but gentle examination to catch problems early, when they are simplest and least stressful to treat. For cavities in baby or permanent teeth, we use the same tooth-coloured fillings used for adults, so treatment is both effective and unnoticeable. To protect developing teeth before problems start, we offer fluoride treatment to strengthen enamel and pit & fissure sealants, a thin protective coating applied to the deep grooves of back teeth where cavities most commonly begin in children.

When a baby tooth is lost too early due to decay or injury, space maintainers hold the gap open so permanent teeth coming in later have room to erupt correctly, preventing crowding down the line. For children with deep decay reaching the nerve of a baby tooth, pulp therapy (a child-friendly version of root canal treatment) saves the tooth so it can continue to function until it naturally falls out. And throughout every visit, we emphasise preventive dentistry — teaching kids (and parents) the habits that will keep their smiles healthy long after they've outgrown our pediatric chair.
